Chen Huazhang's regular job is to travel all over the country. Multimeters, phase sequence meters, grounding testers and the like are his "old buddies". Years of front-line practice have forged in him a sense of responsibility and attention to detail that runs deep in his bones.

The work we do, on a small scale, is installing a piece of equipment; on a larger scale, it is a major issue concerning the safety of the aircraft and the operation of the airport. This is what he often says to his apprentices. In his eyes, the torque of the screw, the thickness of the sealant, and the value of the grounding resistance, these dull standards are the "life-saving talismans" gained from countless experiences and lessons. A loose joint may lead to overall rework, and a waterproofing defect may cause a malfunction in the rain. He demanded that the team must treat every detail "as a major issue", because only in this way could they truly "avoid major incidents".

This relentless pursuit of standards has been vividly demonstrated in the Beijing Daxing International Airport project. Facing the world-renowned national project, standards as strict as the millimeter level, and tight schedules, Chen Huazhang and his team were "on high alert". They repeatedly confirmed every link of waterproofing, grounding and wiring, and finally successfully completed the task. When he saw the plane taking off and landing at the new airport, he felt extremely proud: "There are also the ground well equipment we installed down there."

Although the achievements of his work are not known to most people, Chen Huazhang always feels a strong sense of value recognition. Whether on a business trip or traveling, whenever he arrives at an airport he has participated in building, he will subconsciously look for the manhole covers he installed to observe the operation of the equipment. Although no one knows who did it, I do. We have also contributed to this aviation industry." The sense of security and pride brought by this job is the emotional support that has sustained him for eighteen years.

Looking back on his time at Cft, Chen Huazhang described it as "one step at a time". For the future of the company, this veteran employee has the most simple expectations: the scale can be expanded, the technology can be upgraded, but the initial spirit of "being meticulous about quality, insisting on safety, and being responsible to customers" must not be lost.
