From February 4th to 5th, 2026,  Craft Aviation successfully showcased its new generation of intelligent pit and power supply systems at the 13th Russian International Airport Equipment Exhibition. 01 The demand for modernization of Russian airports has surged.

The Russian International Airport Equipment Exhibition, as a professional B2B trade platform, comprehensively covers products and services required for civil aviation and airport infrastructure. The exhibition focuses on equipment, technologies and services in the fields of ground handling, terminal management, airport IT and airport design.

This exhibition comes at a crucial time for the modernization of Russia's airports. Data shows that Russia currently has 228 civilian airports and plans to increase the number to 242 by 2030. The Russian government has drawn up a list of 129 airports in need of development, including 76 that require reconstruction.

It is particularly worth noting that the Russian government has identified the development of 29 airports in the Far East as a key objective, with a plan to achieve a passenger throughput of 4 million in the region by 2030.

Under the framework of the public-private partnership mechanism, the modernization project of Russian airports is expected to attract an investment of 104 billion rubles, offering a broad market prospect for equipment suppliers.
